They’re all crying: “Reddit is so left! Where’s my safe space? I have every other social media platform, but Reddit and Bluesky call me bad, and I want a safe space there too, buhohohoooo!”
This is the only social media platform, besides maybe Bluesky, where I’ve seen intelligent debate. Everywhere else, social media thrives on trolling and “enragement for engagement.” Perhaps that’s why Reddit leans left—there’s just not much depth in certain political ideologies. When actual debates happen, it doesn’t go well: “Those lefties and their damn science!”
Reddit is the GOAT for these reasons—not because it’s left-leaning, but because it fosters better discussions. It’s not all tribalism and name-calling here.
Lol, half of you don’t get the spirit of my post, and the other half confuse censorship with being downvoted. LMFAO, cope harder.
I understand Reddit is left-leaning. I get it. But conservatives aren’t being “censored”; y’all are being downvoted. You literally have a conservative subreddit—it’s your own echo chamber. The point of my post is that Reddit, at least, offers information, details, conversation, context, etc., in the comments. It’s not just “MAGA 2024” or “Free Palestine” in every single comment, like on Meta. Y’all are so easy to frustrate it’s kind of sad.
Damn, y’all are acting a little funny. So many of you are saying, “You’re banned here, you’re banned there.” I’ve even been banned in conservative subs when I didn’t fallate Trump. But when I make lefty jokes in conservative subreddits, I might get downvoted—not banned.
If you constantly feel banned, maybe it’s not about your right or left-wing ideology. Maybe, just maybe, your comments make you look like a POS.
